Use smaller words, and aim for a Flesch Kincaid Grade Level of between 7 and 8. This means a seventh and eighth grader would understand what you wrote.

Your writing needs to be passionate and articulate. Your message needs to be clear and concise so that your reader has no problem understanding what it is you are writing about. If you are a passionate writer, you will also engage your reader at a much deeper level.
